Who's Alberto Rigoni?

"Hello music lovers! I'm Alberto Rigoni, an Italian composer and.. a BASS GUY! Between 2008 and 2017 I released six BASS solo albums, spanning from progressive, rock, ambient to funky and experimental music (Something Different, Rebirth, Three Wise Monkeys, Overloaded, BASSORAMA and Duality), which featured also contributions from musicians such as drummer Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), keyboardist Kevin Moore (ex Dream Theater), singer Goran Edman (ex Y. Malmsteen), Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani), Nik West (ex Prince) and many others. I'm also bass player for Ardityon, Kim Bingham and The Italians bands."

The new album EvoRevolution

"Even if the release of my latest album Duality happened in September 2017, at the beginning of February 2018 I felt the need to compose new music. This time will be quite challenging because I'm willing to release a 33 mins instrumental ambient/prog/rock/metal track, like a "suite" with a concept behind. Still it will be just bass and drums! Of course it won't be easy but with some experimental bass tones I can make it! :) And... do you know who will be the drummer on this song? The legendary natural born drummer Marco Minnemann, are you ready to face a new prog experience? The album will be released in Digipack CD and in high quality digital format approximately before this summer."

Marco Minnemann says: "Alberto approached me with the idea of adding drums to a fairly long piece composed mainly on the bass guitar. It goes in chapters and takes you on a trip through a variation of sensitive and dynamic soundscapes, leads through heavy rock song like parts, odd meter prog or jazz orientated sections and many more surprises. I was immediately up for this adventure and also enjoyed the musical freedom I was given for this production. Truly an enjoyable and great time being part of this release.
