| I started playing
bass at the age of 17 after a friend of mine introduced me to Dream
Theater. I played for about a year and then, with the drummer Enrico
Buttol, I created the Dream Theater cover band called "Ascra".
In 2001 the band joined the Dream Theater Cover Band Contest (organized
by Italian
Dreamers Official Fan Club) and reach the 2nd place. Judges of
the contest were the members of Dream Theater!! In 2003, during one of Ascra's live shows, I met the multiinstrumentist/composer Daniele Liverani (Genius Rock Opera, Empty Tremor, Khymera) and the young talented guitarist Tommy Ermolli (Khymera )... Some months later I joined the new powerful progmetal band called "Twinspirits" (featuring Daniele Liverani, Dario Ciccioni, Tommy Ermolli and the great singer Soren Adamsen). Our first album, "The Music That Will Heal The World", has been released by Lion Music on june 15th 2007. At the same time I kept working on a solo project that is now complete! "Something Different" has been released worldwide by Lion Music on february 15th 2008! |
